Does anybody have any experience with Novitec's carbon fiber parts? How is the fitment and match to the OEM weave? Considering some pieces for my Pista.

They fit perfect. Novitec default is not 1x1 although you can get 1x1....I’m not a fan personally of 1x1, only on interior pieces to match OEM, exterior, prefer 2x2/Novitec default. Great products.

Two friends have Novitec carbon parts on a 458 and a 488. The quality of the parts is excellent and the fitment appears to be as good as factory.

Though I prefer 2x2 generally, with the Pista, there is so much CF in 1x1 that I shouldn’t mix. Perhaps on the next car I will request 2x2. I saw someone do that with their Pista recently.

any thoughts on how Novitec carbon parts affect a cars value? I'm ordering an F8 and choosing not to install any of the exterior carbon pieces, thinking I'll install Novitec instead due to the tremendous cost savings. My dealers telling me it will greatly affect the car value at reasale and not to do it. Does anyone have first hand experience with this?
    thanks

Just keep all of the OEM parts and you can return it to the original spec at resale. Build the car YOU want versus building it for someone you've never met:)

The quality and fitments is supposed to be top notch. I would have no problem adding some parts as appropriate to my cars. Some of the pieces look better than OEM, have been wind tunnel tested, or are even options that don't come from the factory. I've been meaning to buy the bonnet strip for my Pista. It'll cover the lame matt black across the hood under the windshield. Most are reversible too. You just need to find one buyer that likes it, and Novitec is not polarizing like Mansory, etc.

I was interested in that carbon piece for my Pista too. It is quite pricy though. BTW, good friend of mine is a Novitec authorized dealer and he can hook me up. Since the demand is very low, we could try group buy for those who are interested Pista owners.

It will help the value. Novitec is widely accepted.

Awesome, love to hear more about a group purchase. Just the rear carbon lid boot is over $8k for two small pieces. I don’t see how that even makes sense. Maybe because the engine is hot and some extra thick carbon is involved but still can’t justify it when Novitec has it for half the price. Glad to hear the responses to my post, thanks!

I spoke to my friend(vendor) and he said that I am not supposed to list discount price in public as Novitec does not allow. Also this is not "For Sale" thread.
If anyone wants Novitec carbon pieces just send me a PM.

Looking at some aftermarket carbon fiber pieces from Ricambi and was wondering what did do you mean when you said "Novitec is not polarizing like Mansory, etc"?

Novitec design isn't as controversial. Mansory has made some ugly stuff, in most peoples' opinion I find. Novitec's is more reserved overall in comparison.

new to this and can't seem to find where i can PM you? Also, I been told that most of the smaller pieces like the B-Pillar, side air vents and rear hood lid boot are all stick on pieces, can anyone confirm this please?

    thanks

That’s odd so they just use some glue to add to the existing pieces? That must look kind of off maybe super thick. I wonder what they are glued on with?

I'm pretty sure you could also use double side mounting tapes for easy removal later down the road.
