    Hi everyone,

I'm looking into a manual 360 Spider, UK model but exported to Australia.
It has a carbon fibre centre console with a push start button as well as Race and L.C (images attached).
The strange thing is I can't seem to find anything like this online.
Would anyone know where this might have been done?...as I'd like to understand it better before maybe putting an offer in.
I'm guessing the buttons were fitted by a specialist and then the carbon fibre custom made to fit around it?
I'm not sure if it adds value or takes away from it!
Any ideas would be most welcome.

    Thanks,

    TC

That level of modification would require a lot of effort to reverse. The intrusion into the wiring harness to fashion a start button there is unknown too. The work looks a bit crude, at least from the picture, so what's underneath it? What else has been chopped and butchered?

Unless the car includes all the original parts and the wiring hasn't been cut apart, then it might not be a problem. Do you want to be stuck with a car that has unknown changes and potential issues that cannot be reversed?

If your idea is to modify the car into something other than what Enzo intended, then this type of change is irrelevant. If you want to be a custodian of a bit of automotive history and be a good caretaker, then this car might be too highly customized.

It's all a matter of your personal preference as you're the thinking about taking on the responsibility for the car.

Personally, I find carbon fiber bits in the 360 to appear out of place. The 430 is different in that regard as it came with factory carbon fiber options. The 360 did not.

It looks similar to one offered by Novitec back in the day.
I might find the photo of the manufacture's label, which points to a German company that made them.

    It looks awesome.

    Thanks for the posts...
I haven't seen what's under it so don't know if its a pro job or a butchered one, and doubt the seller would allow me to start dismantling it.
Other than curiosity thats the main reason Id like to know if it was produced by a reputable company as a kit or whatever.
If it was I'd be more partial to it, but if its something a bit random that no one knows about, less so.
I think it looks quite ok personally as there's quite a bit of carbon fibre on the car so its not out of place.
I might see if there's any labels on the those other parts as I'd assume they were all from the same place...
