Anyone know recent history on ZFFDU57A540137802?? The Canna di Fucile CS. It has been discussed several times before in this thread. It appears Stokpro may have bought it at one point.

The stripe was described in here as aftermarket, I believe, & was removed at some point. Now it's back. Was also described as sticky all over. I can't tell from the listing pics if that has been taken care of or not. The puffiness over the psgr airbag is concerning.

The airbag puffiness is more or less normal on all Ferrari's from this era. Leather needs to be pulled off and re-adhered.

I've seen this car come and go for about a decade. In its most recent listing it looks like some maintenance has been deferred; it just needs some TLC. If I had room for another CS in the garage it would definitely be in CdF as I utterly love this color.

It just rubs me the wrong way to get a new (to me) car & then blow a few grand more + the down time to take out the switches, trim, etc & send them for de-stickying. Making payments & insurance while it sits waiting to go back together.

Agreed; these cars deserve to be maintained with an open checkbook. Sadly, many are not.

I de-stickied my CS at the dealer while it was in for yearly service. Took no time at all.

At a minimum, more time & money. Always makes me wonder if the airbag deployed & that opens up a whole new can of worms.

Dave at StickyRX has taken de-stickying to a whole new level. They're busy because they're the best.

Anyone here very knowledgeable on the CS, specifically the remote fob/starting the car/unlocking the car? I have some questions offline. Thx.

Honestly if the airbag deployed and it was repaired, it would look much better.

The adhesive Ferrari used in that era separates over time from expanding/contracting with heat/cool cycles. The leather lifts up and bubbles. Fairly well documented and some threads on here where people have just peeled it back and used upholstery adhesive to work it back on and looks good as new.

We only drive ours maybe a couple hundred miles a year, we have a lot of other cars, BUT every time almost without fail, we screw up the starting sequence of disarming/arming the alarm, etc.

When the car doesn't start it has ALWAYS (knock on wood) been because of this, I'm not blaming the car, its our fault, but its something we never remember!
