Does anyone else watch the daily coverage? My wife and I watch all 4 or 5 hours every day. I don't ride a bicycle except for a stationary bike in the winter months, so I don't watch for that. In fact I still don't even fully understand the scoring. We watch primarily for the scenery. Also I think Phil Liggett and Bob Roll do an excellent job commenting.

We usually go to Europe 2 or 3 times each year. With that not possible so far, at least we live vicariously through the Tour.

I've watched TDF for many years - paid NBC subscriber every year for it.

I save each episode and watch them in the afternoons. I'll fast forward through some of the longer flat stretches, but today's 10th leg was one of the most exciting non-mountain stages I can remember seeing, so I watched it all (didn't want to miss the next crash...). I've always enjoyed Peter Sagan, but think he's now slowing just enough to not be the dominant sprinter he's always been. With the rampant cheating over the years, I don't take it too seriously, but love the scenery, the unexpected breakaway heroes, and the strategy.

I DVR & watch that night or next me morning. Definitely have to fast forward to get through in a reasonable time.

I find FF-ing to be more stress than reward....so, for the past few days I've been watching NBC Sports on Youtube. About 20 minutes, and it works for me so far. I agree on the 'watch it all' travelogue part, but information density is just too low.
As an aside, WSJ had an article about Phil's routine normally; he's been doing the Tour so long, when they stop for the day, he knows which hotel they'd stay at, and which restaurant they'd go to.

Been watching it forever. This might be the first year Sky/Ineos won’t win it in a very long time (Nibali when Froome had to retire)

Also Bianchi/Colnago/Pinarello in the first three places :)

Watching it daily, they show each full day stage on Bein Sports 10 here. Been into cycling since I was a kid - my father was / still is a strong amateur rider. Personally I prefer the one-day classics and of the GC Tours prefer the Giro but this years TdF is arguably the most open race in years. Plus being stuck in the Middle East, watching the beautiful French countryside rolling past each day is great therapy

I'm keeping up, mostly the NBC 20 minute summary videos each day, some live watching. I'm not as much in it as 2000's when I watched almost every minute of every stage. There is some pretty good action and storylines this year, I just don't have any personal favorites like I use to.

Looking like a great stage finish today on the Grand Columbier, I'm watching with 3kms to go

    Bernal cracked, Quintana cracked

Roglic, Yates, Porte, Pogadcar, Valverde, Demoulin, Uran, Landa - A really strong group

I'm liking this years TdF, its like a reboot which frankly was needed

Ineos made a big mistake not bringing Thomas. First time they only have one leader and they’ve lost already. Wanted Dumoulin to win but he’s too unlucky. Roglic on a Bianchi will do before the team switches to Cervelo

I think Pogacar has the strength to take on Roglic, you could see the fear in Roglic's eyes at the finish

Brailsford dropped the ball this year, you're right. Going all-in with Bernal was foolish, Thomas was ready and would have been a great Plan B. That said, this years Giro is v late seasonally and the cooler temps might work in Thomas's favour

I'm going off-piste with Pogacar top podium step in Paris prediction

My wife is a big Sagan fan and she's a little disappointed in him so far. She thinks he may be getting old.

Edit: Fortunately I checked my post, spell check changed Sagan to Satan!

Stage 18, I'm going to watch the last 60k. Pretty good stage with a bunch of breaks already, getting to top of the Class 1, then down to start of the stages only HC. I prefer mountain top finishes, but this will still get good.

Watching it. Should have watched yesterday’s queen stage though. Brutal!
Today not many GC battles going on I think

One of the last chances to admire that beautiful Bianchi Aquila or any Bianchis for that reason in the pro peloton :(

So Pogacar and Roglic underway on the ITT. Watched the whole thing today, this is a tough one, the climb to the finish is a killer.

Pogacar historically is the stronger time triallist of the two. Can he do this?

I would love to see him take it and the Best Young Rider jersey

They’re very evenly matched. I actually think Roglic will do better today.

Roglic has been racing a paint stripped version with unbranded lighter wheels all Tour as they’re a bit too heavy though. Sounds familiar? Must be why collaboration with Ferrari makes so much sense ;)

I was going to nip out for an evening stroll but this is riveting, I'm flicking between the TdF and the Leeds v Fulham game that's a goalfest

    Happy Days
