You might contact member JM2, he had a copy for less than eBay asking prices.

Not that I wish to discount M.B.'s efforts to produce an apparently great book, but is he the seller of the book(s) on eBay and how many are actually trading at these listing prices or are they just like anything else offered for sale with excessively(?) optimistic/speculative "asking", i.e. not a realistic market/value indicators ?
    Just curious.

Matthias is not one of the sellers on eBay; in fact he was still selling the remaining stock on hand a bit more than a year ago for the listed price. I know of a copy that sold for more than $2000.

Perhaps your time is better spent organizing Dino drives !
Will you be coming to USA to attend Monterey 2021 and possibly a Dino Rally to Napa Valley and the California Coast across the Golden Gate Bridge?

    Hi Matthias

Any thoughts on doing another print run pf your wonderful Compendium?

I imagine there are a eager new set of Dino owners clamoring for one - and a few oldies like me who were too slow last time (not to be repeated)...

    Regards
    Dave

Matthias ,Even though I was lucky to get the first version ,I would be in line for the next one if you decide to do it. When I first saw the outline of the book on line it reminded me of the Porsche Carrera RS book of the early nineties, which was a standout, and I was not disappointed, IMO it exceeded that book !!!

I see on eBay prices ranging from $2350 to $2995.50. with a completed sale in Feb. of $2500. Horton Books in the UK is asking $3100. All of these books are listed as either “used” or “as new” with the books opened and pictures of the inside. I have a copy that has been sitting on my bookshelf for the past 10 years that “is new”, i.e., still in the shrink wrap, never opened. I think that would qualify as NOS and probably garner 100 pts. at a concours. I am in no need to sell but this might be a good time. Having said that, just wondering where it would be best to try and sell my Dino Compendium ……. Ferrarichat, eBay or is there some other site? Thank you.

Try the 'for sale' section. See how it goes.
If you say " I am in no need to sell but this might be a good time."
    You are setting yourself up.
    Just a thought...

To be honest, the Dino Compendium adds way more enjoyment to my 246 GT ownership than the original toolkit, for instance. I take the Compendium off the shelf all the time—especially in winter—and just enjoy spending time reimmersing myself in all the nuances of the Dino. A fantastic book and look forward to anything Matthias produces in the future.
