Brog - those parts are works over art sir!
100% agree (on the under promising that is!) But yes, the parts look good, though the surface finish isn't fully done on the gear gate in that photo.
So far communication has been excellent. Art and co have held up to the terms outlined. I have zero complaints so far. Id recommend eag with no qualms. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Great stuff! Interesting to see they've gone for making the turret in 2 parts. I imagine it makes the casting a lot easier. (Below is a photo of an original item.) Can't see it being an issue provided everything is well aligned and nicely welded together- I assume that's why those parts are sitting on the welding table in the photos above! Just wanted to add some photos of my conversion underway. Looks to be winding down! Probably will get some good drives in before the endless winter begins. I knew SOMETHING good had to come of this crappy year.... Great to see some positive progress and commentary and hopefully these pics serve to satiate some of the speculation about the validity of the operation. I received my conversion in early July and have been driving it quite a bit since. Performs flawlessly and, in my opinion, is much more engaging and fun that I ever had in the F1 drives. Art and team delivered a quality product for me.
Has anyone received the conversion kit from art and done the conversion themselves? I plan to do this early next year and was wondering how involved it is. The most involved thing I have done on my f-430 is a full exhaust including headers, but I have done several engine swaps and pretty much anything in the import world, used to own a couple supras and s2000.
@ttforcefed How long have you been waiting for the parts? Approaching four weeks for me. Payed on the 18th of Aug.
I agree. Art seems very steadfast in redeeming himself. He is passionate and innovative. Lots of small businesses, especially in the car space, suffer on the business management side. ****, some of the most successful companies in the world suffer from that. I think what is important is that Art has recognized the need to improve that aspect and hes doing everything he can.
Fwiw in a year it wont be a discussion of shld anyone order from eag, it will be if you dont do it now the price of the kits will be 50k instead of 13k.
I suppose if you, or anyone else, stole it from me I'd do something about it beyond cryptic posting to a forum. But since EAG quoted a price to me for parts and labor which I fully paid and for which they fully and satisfactorily delivered, I have no need.
I also have a car @ EAG and Art has been very good. Thank you Ttforcefed. As can be seen, they have lots going on. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
