Hey, the trophy isn't a Heineken star!
If I was a bemz sponsor I would be a bit upset about that..though he did remove it after the anthems..
Just providing coverage of the podium interview, no PR discussion intended though it was Lewis Hamilton who brought PR to the podium, which is part of race day. Perhaps he can get away with that but poor form IMO.
Ferrari is going to have trouble trying to race in Bahrain if they bring this pig of a car. Vettel couldn't stay within 5 sec of Kimi? Ferrari got "participation" points. Just sad. Younger drivers encounter narrow track: chaos ensues. Formula Heehaw.
Agree Most worrying thing was to see Binotto smiling in the paddock with other staff members this week-end..
Three! Three! Three races in one! At least Ferrari got both cars to the finish; only Mercedes equalled that.
Enjoyable race but not for the performance aspect. Though like last week, I'll take it. Red cars are embarrassing. Terrible. I thought this performance would result in Binotto's ousting, but it seems Camilleri wants to put his own future in jeopardy by backing this guy.
A "better" season for F is not possible. *lm poster boy turning F1 into a reality show is the cherry on top.
Tuscan Grand Prix Verstappen "would have retired anyway" if not for lap one crash Image Unavailable, Please Login Max Verstappen revealed he would have retired from the Tuscan Grand Prix even if he had not crashed on the first lap. The Dutchman's Red Bull sustained a software issue with the power unit 20 minutes before the start, and although seemingly rectified, he plummeted down through the pack to 13th from third on the grid when he was involved in an accident. The knock-on effect of a collision between Kimi Raikkonen, Romain Grosjean and Pierre Gasly resulted in the Finn ramming the back of Verstappen's RB16, leaving him beached in the gravel trap and forcing him to retire for the second week running. Verstappen, though, was unruffled by his exit on the first lap for the fourth time in his career as he said: "That doesn’t matter when you get in a situation like that. "I would’ve probably retired anyway so it is what it is."
Marko forgets they were on the podium. Complains like the old man he is. No tact lol https://www.gpblog.com/en/news/68202/marko-concludes-turbulent-race-with-a-bad-result-for-us-.html
First race I haven't seen in full this season. Must say F1 is in a terrible state; the cars, the tyre and fuel saving, Mercedes dominating for the 7th season in a row, no fight for the championship (not even among the Merc.drivers), the biggest name in F1 Ferrari having a hard time to even get into the points and no perspective for Ferrari for improvement. The 1000 GP for Ferrari proved to be both a lowpoint for Ferrari itself and F1 in general. What a shame.

Well that was a nuts race. Nearly half the field wiped out. Amazing crashes due to poor restart discipline and mechanical failures. Amazing no one was hurt. I really like the circuit for its speed and obvious test of courage, but it will need some safety upgrades if it’s going to be a regular on the calendar. Ham destroyed Bot again. Snore. Season over. Albon made the podium - finally. He started slow, but somehow finally came alive in the third race. Great move to take Ricci. He’s just as good as Gasly. No point redbull considering a sideways swap for a similar quality driver so I’m not surprised the team is fully behind him. Honda seem incapable of building an engine that works in two redbull a for an entire weekend. Irritating. Ferrari an embarrassment. I really want to know the back story behind the power unit debacle which has cost us this season and next. Sad to see Russel miss out on points. He had it in the bag but just blew the last restart and threw the points away. He will be just as gutted as the rest of the Williams team but hopefully they will score soon. Sainz and Stroll will be thanking their respective gods for not ending up badly injured.
