This track is the same track width since the 70's.

Maybe widen it ...but that's it.

According to what I saw elsewhere, red flags stop the race timer. It's 4-hours max for the race.

 

I was driving a 430 Scuderia on Circuit Mont-Tremblant when Lance Stroll caused a red flag. It was 2011, we found out later on that he had forgotten his jacket in a car, which was parked inside the barn in the middle of the circuit. They red flagged us so his helicopter could turn around and safely land so he could retrieve his outerwear.

 

Was that Lance or Lawrence Stroll?

 

I thought it was 2 hours from the start, but perhaps Red Flags stop the clock?

 

The 2hr max race time excludes red flag periods. I think there is now an overall time too, but no danger of exceeding that without a weather intervention.
