Before & After Yeah, yeah, don't have the center caps or valve stem caps on yet. Had to come in and cool off. Florida is being especially brutal today! Maybe I'll clean up and take Nichelle out and scrub her new Pole Positions up a bit after I get the various caps on. Oh noes, an excuse to drive my Ferrari! Thanks! They came with the car as a second set, and both sets needed tires anyway. Would have preferred the flat finish really, but didn't look a gift horse in the mouth.
Those low pro tires really showcase a wheel gap. On those 360 wheels I'd machine 17 mm off the rear hub and lower the car 3/4". Looks great in black, even the chrome is fine with black.
Yeah, hoping she settles about half an inch after being down off the jack and driven a while, TBH. If not, I may look into lowering her just a smidge.
Ohh yes, if that's dropped from the jack yes it will settle down quite a bit, very true. Won't solve the rear wheel backspace though, the tires stick out of the fender inside of being under them as you'll see. personally I like 360 wheels on the 348 better than 355 wheels and I have 355 wheels. Offset thing I did. https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/348-355-360-wheel-offset.600577/
Took a bit to catch up, but yeah, your numbers check out. Is it safe to machine off 14mm from the inside of the 360 wheel hub? It does look kind of muscle car-ish right now. Will look into it deeper when I get a couple other things ironed out. From what I hear, the 360s on fatter rear shoes really tame the rear end, sorting out the handling issue the 348s are supposed to have.
Jacked up Camaro is what I have seen it refereed to. Yes you can machine 12mm off. 360 wheels are the same size as 355 btw. And it looks fantastic in my opinion at least. The OEM 360 rear tires are way too fat and tall, waaaay. 355 sizes in Conti Extreme contact are good as they have a wider shoulder than others. The 225 fronts are 1/2 inc shorter. Once you start changing tire sizes it throws off the chassis rake and you should adjust height to restore that. enjoy.
Looks like I may need to go to the higher end of that 12-17mm scale. Still safe? Will I still be able to use the 360 lugs or will I need to cut the threads a bit farther up the bolt, then saw off the ends? OEM 348 right side, vs. 360 left side. (Yeah, I slapped one back on for comparison. In this heat. Ugh.) Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Some folks love that look and that's great no issues there, to each their own. If not Ricambi sells the wheel bolts for 355 wheels on a 348, the same ones is using 15 or 25mm spacers if you trim backspace. Tires size is an issue too https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/my-18-wheel-thread.623351/ PM me with questions or start a thread so we don't clog this thread up.
Just got out of the car, absent-mindedly looked back, and thought: “f*** me, you’re a lucky bas***d”. Don’t ever forget it”. Wise words... Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app

Some very classy company today! (Unfortunately I didn’t speak to the owner; but apparently a very special Aston!) Image Unavailable, Please Login
It’s a great colour in my view. She gets a lot of attention wherever we go. I think the colour and the style coming good combine nicely!!!!
Beautiful. Someday I'll have a car in the classic Rosso Corso over tan, but the perfect black/black car came along at the perfect time.
