Surprised at the number of SP1’s I have been seeing on this thread, they’re beautiful!

I've seen a lot of cars with this sort of "lipstick" treatment. Is that an homage to some earlier F car? Same question for the horizontal strip like the one on the right in post 2134. Thank you...T

Yes the racing livery lipstick treatment on late 1950's race cars and the horizontal stripe on early 1960's race cars like the 250 GTO.

SP1 here in Berlin, one of the first customer cars in Germany. First on PM dealer plates waiting for its regestration and then registered on the best possible plate. These photos are mine. The owner is very kind. Lets see which of you can figure out what/who the inscription behind the headrest is about ;)

I agree. F SpA needs to take it from owner, and give it to me!
Or, at least let me drive it until the police arrest me for driving a car with no windshield! :D
    T

p.s. Post # 2147 makes it clear just how exposed the driver is w/o a windshield.
This may be a case where it is best to be vertically challenged like many of our F1 driver heroes.

It‘s a tribute to Carmelo Saggio.
He was the owner of the Ferrari dealership in Munich.
Unfortunately he died few years ago.
