    It depends.
Compared to original production Ansa-Brev U.S. mufflers, total weight reduction is about 32 lbs. (or about 1% off from weight of the entire car).
Compared to identical, but more recent reproduction Ansa mufflers, about 20 lbs.

Maybe, but only if I can figure out an easy installation of good sound recording equipment.
In hindsight, should’ve recorded the sounds prior to replacement by driving same exact routes & speeds with both setups, i.e. before and after or apples-to-apples comparison.
    Oh well, maybe next time.
There’s only so much a person can do in a one-man show.

Well, there's nothing wrong with the "other" ones either, especially if they too are well maintained and regularly exercised...

    Agree 100%.
But "these" double Ds can get you those Double Ds all day long. It really doesn't work the other way around. :)

Well, my (long ago) experiences proved different and on few occasions when my ride(s) (unintentionally ?) influenced the outcome, they weren't Ferraris or even sports cars, but (obviously) cool rides none the less.

Only once, at tender age of 15, I bought a car with "that" potential outcome in mind and it completely failed, so I promptly decided never to waste time or money on such efforts again.
And never needed to since.

Only once in my life I actually went out there to see if i can use the car to get some. Within 20 minutes of cruising I had 2 different opportunities.

But when people ask me if i find some girls use me for my cars, I respond back: sure and I use them for...
All this was 20+ years ago. ;)

Yes. Is it really a cut car? All these years I've known that car (and owner) the owner claimed it was an original.
The miles are minimal and I believe the car originally was yellow.
I've talked to the original owner many many times about it. I'll be bummed if I find out after 20 years it was a cut.

Ok, I think i got this all wrong. 17041 is FACT an original cut.
Marcel asked if the car on the trailer was 17041 or was it "my" cut. Gotcha.
    I think?
