    LOL,
Maybe Gasly and Albon are very good drivers ( better than midfield driver ) .
Button perfectly knows who is the benchmark.

He is arguably the fastest driver in the second or third fastest car.
He has corrected his excessive aggression and settled down into a fully competent driver.

Max versus Lewis in the same cars would be a great battle.

Doubtful that Lewis could master that ill-handling Red Bull.

Hamilton demonstrated his limitations when the McLaren was a bit loose.

Hamilton won multiple races when the Mclaren was a bit loose, easy. Max has to win on 3 tires to top Lewis

So what? That’s ur only argument, because there at least as many drivers that place senna or Schumacher above him. And it’s all fine. No one can impose any goat to anyone. Lh is good/gréât that’s fine why don’t we move on

Yes my only argument is echoing what drivers say, as they know more.
Yes I along with many drivers say Ham, Senna, Schumi etc are all time greats, and we have moved on. Its the few people who haven't moved on that have issues.

Yes, but as mentioned about 6 months ago, a GOAT has to have avoided being killed while driving in a race. This also excludes {Clark and Villeneuve}. You may not agree with my argument and that is alright with me.

That’s the most ignorant and infuriating thing I ever read. Clearly you know 0 about sports and f1. And with that I’m putting u on ignore rather than reading stupidity

Villeneuve is a f1 world champion, a 500 Indy winner and a champcar winner.
The amount of nonsense he said on french television is absolutely incomensurable.
Otherwise he is a nice guy.

it would be interesting to see Hamilton facing real pressure.I'm not sure the legend of the pilot who doesn't make mistakes would last long ..

When I see the level at which Gasly is evolving today and the gap that there was with Max last year, I wonder what is the true level of driving of Verstappen?

Max and Leclerc still have that go cart, wheel banging, scrappy racing style. Monza last year, Leclerc made a bold defending move to squeeze Hamilton off track for the win. Hamilton was'nt expecting that, he doesn't bother to do that anymore, he drives more cautiously now. He use to drive scrappy the first part of his career, with Mclaren, then with Rosberg.
Leclerc, Norris are still scrappy, Max a little less now

When Senna died in 94 it left no one to put real pressure on Schumacher, that sort of cheapened his seven titles as we didn’t have the great rivalry like Prost vs Senna that made F1 amazing to watch.

I agree: it is interesting to watch Gasly evolving so quickly. I don’t have any real perspective on the cause: it could be that RB has developed a car that is very suited to Max’s style - but not Pierre’s. Or it could be that STR have simply hit upon a better balanced car - or one that better suits Pierre.

I’ll be curious to see whether RB starts evolving to looks more like the STR in the weeks ahead.

If the design turns out not to be the issue and the team is pushing the car to fit Max, 2022 could be a troubling year for them, since I think MV will have no shortage of options and I don’t think we’ll see the RB get much closer the Mercedes...

The STR seems to be much better balanced...the RBR is very difficult to drive because it's aerodynamically unstable.

Why has RBR developed the car in that direction?
