Hanging out with a couple of her ancestors at Lime Rock Park yesterday. Of maybe 15-18 Ferraris there in total (covid and no same-day ticket sales kept the turnout lower than normal I think), there were 2 355s including mine and 4 246 Dinos, which was nice to see. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Out on a morning drive yesterday with a friend and he took a random photo of me while I was driving. When he sent it to me I realized it looks almost identical to a photo a magazine took of my dad driving his 365 California Spyder in the early '80s. Pretty cool! Just back from the annual inspection, washed the last 1000 miles of bugs off before putting her away; fall has arrived in my neck of the woods. Sure is nice having OBD I come inspection time. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
It is the best driving season for sure. We're nowhere near peak here, but on Sunday I took the car a half hour north into the mountains (braving the armadas of leaf-peeping out-of-staters, seemingly all in SUVs and campers) and it looks close to peak up there. Enjoy the season! I've driven some really nice back roads in NJ during the Fall Ferrari Festival in years past.
I like to think of our cars like those celebrities that don't seem to age lol . Keep her clean, keep her young Image Unavailable, Please Login
Say, that's a nice looking woodpile. I will be starting up my outdoor boiler soon, unfortunately. I still want to get out in the car a few more times as the cool weather is great for open top cruising. Then its back to winter.
