I don't know what the RHD market is, but $170k is a very high asking price these days. The car better be ready to win awards. It does look like its in great shape though and new owner wouldn't need to do much at all. But would the new owner even want to drive this one? If you are looking for something to have fun with on the road, there are probably better options.

Rebuilt starter, rebuilt alternator, new clutch, etc etc etc and it only has 20k miles? Hmmmm something tells me it has seen more miles than that in real life.

If I was able to get it for £110K I think it makes more sense. See below comments on service history:

Its 1000 mile service (the mileage was well below that) was in 1992 and in 1996 the supplying dealer serviced the car at 688 miles. From this service in 1996 to 2003, so in seven years it did the most mileage in its life, 16000. In 1999 it was serviced on Jersey by Porsche specialists – parts supplied by Ferrari JCT 600. The invoices are on file but mileage wasn’t recorded so its between 688 and 16000, and I’d say somewhere in the middle considering at 16216 in 2003 it went to the highly regarded Ferrari expert John Pogson (Italia Autosport) who serviced it, changed the cambelts and did over £5000 of work. It didn’t really get used after this, only 16670 miles recorded in 2011 so it had the best part of 7 years plus in hibernation. Top Ferrari people DK Engineering had the car over 2017 and 2018, did all the belts etc went right through the car considering it had been covering such low mileage. £32000 of invoices are on file.

Since then, 100 or so miles have been covered. All that should be required is an oil change and basic service, £32000 is the major one! I have to say, it drives incredibly well, in fact, as you would expect a one year old Testarossa to drive. My father took it out on arrival, he said in 30 years he hasn’t driven one this good.

Congratulation with the deal. It appears to be a great low mileage car and I'm sure your will enjoy the car for the years to come. Now remember to put some miles on here as she deserves!

    Best, Peter
