It'll be interesting to see who gets tickets. The Packers are expecting 12,000 seats filled max., right now. With 2 sets of season ticket holders, I'm thinking not too many for visitors. ???
“The Washington Football Team” hahahahahahahahahahha How about having white jerseys and pants and naming them the Washington Generic Bureaucrats?
Alex Smith cleared to return . . . https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/29532829/washington-qb-alex-smith-cleared-full-football-activity-broken-leg
I've always been able to turn a blind eye but this year they've really ticked me off. And unless they're told what to say, a bunch of superior athletes scared of covid is pretty interesting considering their sport.
Must be nice to be able to take a year off and still make 'decent' money, if not a huge, normal check. On one hand, I can understand it - if you have been around folks with Covid-19 - and I mean those WITH it, not just carrying it, and I can also see if one wants to give their body a year-long break to rest and recover. Will these guys come back and be the same? Some will, a lot won't. BYE.
A lot of athletes have NO IDEA how to carry a conversation, there is no other way to describe SOME of these guys other than to compare them to race horses. They have no idea what to say or how to talk, they just show up, work out, lift weights, practice, play, go home, rinse and repeat - since they were about 12 yrs old. I said SOME, not ALL. I've been around a lot of really smart, well-spoken guys, and I have been around a few tree stumps - no offense to real tree stumps. They DO exist.
Cowboys fans: Heard a report that JJ said: "everyone welcome to 'Boys home games. That right? M.A.T.G.A.
They are initially planning 40% occupancy with people in "pods" that know each other and come together. Got to wear a mask too *(thats laughable and unenforceable). They are opening the roof and both ends as well plus running the AC on full blast to push air through it quickly. Thats the latest anyway.
An important milestone for Alex Smith . . . . https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/29766595/washington-alex-smith-takes-part-full-team-work-first-injury
I understand a love for football, but he's nuts. Break that leg again, and he is f*cked for the rest of his life. Anybody remember Dave Dravecky?
speaking of broken legs, Eagles starting where they left off last year. Half of O-line out for the year, 3 WR out, Wentz hurt again, 4 DTs not practicing.
I haven't heard that yet. With the amount of money involving the NFL, I would bet my life they play this year.
How 'bout them Boys! I'm predicting that with social distancing and 'rona, less of our heroes will be arrested this off season! T
Hi Tom. Good luck to you and all Cowboys fans. I'm hoping to attend two Eagle games plus the Super Bowl this year. Have tickets...let's see if I can go. M.A.T.G.A.
