Can someone please help me on the front grill. I’m not sure if the brackets mount with rivets or with a small screw with a nut behind it. What I took off was misc screws with nuts and hard to find out what was original even in the parts catalog. Trying to put it back as original as possible.

    This is a 1977 308GTB.

Also need to know what order these wires go in. The kid took them off and didn’t mark them. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Thank you. If you want send pictures to my phone if it’s easier

Thank you. Getting closer to being done after 3 years. Hope by mid June for a big show in Seattle in July.

I can’t help you with the nuts and bolts but eager to see what others say as I’ll be asking the same question when mine goes back together. Here’s a picture of my resistor wiring when I was stripping my car for painting it’s an 81 GTSI Image Unavailable, Please Login

Interesting the resistors must flipped upside down depending on LHD or RHD

The grill is held by screws, not rivets. The resistor is easy, just use a test light - it's also in the wiring diagram. BTW, if you want to improve the a/c, run a relay on the high speed wire at the fan motor - blows about twice as much air.

Thank you all for the pictures and information.

Will just get some small machine screws and nuts for the grille

    Will do stainless.

Thanks hope to be finished in 3 weeks

+1 with this mod..I did away with the resistor on my GT4 and hooked up a relay to the high speed as I never ran the fan on low and medium anyway..
I tested it with a anemometer and the increase in fan speed was quite substantial..

Wow thank you so much for the pictures and the fan info.

Are you able to let me know what wires you tied together for making the fan run on high or is that in the wiring diagram??

Thank you so much for the screw pictures too. I’m just trying to get it as correct as possible.

Not that a judge would see the screws.

    Thank you again
    Brian

The grill mounts to the tab with metric bolts, as Jim suggests.
Mine are hex head, M8 from memory....

I need to look to confirm but Ferrari used rivets were possible so I think Newman might confirm on his early Boxer jobs, the tab itself may rivet thru the fibreglass valance.

Rivets weigh far less, explains Ferraris fondness of them, but screws are incorrect, they will score the tab, which is only alimunum. On my car the tabs themselves were tapped with threads, for the machine screw or metric bolt.

    Good to see you!!

Turn tab around, long side goes to the valance.....I am not home but will get pictures

That pic of my resistor wiring is for RHD which I believe is exactly opposite to LHD

That's the resistor winding for the a/c blower fan - it's mounted on the LHS, bolted through the fibreglass panel above the evaporator. If you use the search function, you will find lots of pics for the heater hose routing.
