360 Center Console Question??

    Guys I need to know if an F1 center console is interchangeable with a manual. All the ones I’m finding on EBay are F1 and have a metal plate where the shifter would go? Would you just remove it to make it work with my manual? I’m going to use it as a blank to make a silver carbon fiber one out of it. Everything else looks the same on both.

    Yes it's the same. The plate is different between and manual and F1.

    So, it doesn’t matter that the F1 console does not have the 4 screw holes in it that hold the gate down to the console??

    SCratch that....looking at the diagram, they are different parts.

    If you look at the diagram, there is an extra plate that the F1 control plate screws into.
