Excellent. One day, when I’m a man of leisure like you slack-arse idiots I’ll come along. Where are you at that beach?
You’re right. It must be awesome trundling around Melbourne for 5km, as opposed to a bunch of blokes getting together and freely enjoying their cars in some great locations. Meanwhile we’re up here enjoying the lovely weather in Cairns after a pretty routine flight from good old Adelaide. It’s a bit of a ghost town here compared to normal, but whom cares?! About to wander off to a seafood restaurant on the esplanade. Hopefully the scotch tastes good there too...
Best week of the year! Oh come on! They're not even good roads. Car destroyers. Where's the fun in that? And people trying to shoot each other.
So what’s your excuse for going further, smartarse? Who are you giving care to in your Ferrari? Or are you servicing essential air conditioners? Image Unavailable, Please Login
BTW, how was the flight managed? Talking to someone here who has to fly a lot for work mentioned Virgin are keeping empty seats between people but the Jetstar flights to Mackay are packed!
The flight up here was packed. Barely a spare seat. Wearing masks was strongly recommended, but not compulsory. I saw only one guy who wasn’t wearing one. I did find it interesting that the cabin crew weren’t wearing masks, however. It’s a direct flight from Adelaide (which is virtually free of the virus) to Cairns (which is), so overall not much risk at all.
How’s SA border with Vic? (honest question - I have no idea if your lot are actually checking at the borders or not?)
We have a hard border in place with Vic. Has been that way for some time. There have been a number of highly publicised arrests and hefty fines for the few morons trying to bust their way through. Anyone entering from NSW must go into quarantine (at their own expense). No restrictions between us, QLD and NT.
