I love the idea behind it, and what it is trying to accomplish, but almost every new hypercar from the past couple years looks the same to me. Also I don't understand the concept of the turbine, but I doubt Gordan Murray would put it there is it wasn't doing something.

nah, F1's sell for $15?+ mil and the 3-seater Speedtail, $2.1 mil, is already in production.
plus, some will disregard just because of the manual trans.

So small, pretty underwhelming. Don’t like it much tbh, just like the F1

So, you would prefer a big, heavy car (with dct of course)? Exactly the opposite of what Gordon Murray set out to build.

Where did I say heavy? I’d prefer a proper size car, LaFerrari, Valkyrie size. Mclarens and this look too small, especially with people on board, they look weird, like bumper cars. Especially if then sitting in the middle too

Obviously driving dynamics will be unparalleled but don't love styling. Without center seat and fan, I would believe it to be lotus elise successor. I guess thats why people complain about hyper cars always being so big. Its hard to make a boxster sized car look hyper. And cant he figure out way to make side windows go down? Was cool in a 70s countach but weird now

I get the point about size and drama. But they at least could have done something about the headlights. They look so generic.

It's not ugly but it's very bland. Not striking to look at at all.
No matter, it will probably sell out in 24h.

Not too sure. At $3millions I’d rather a Koenigsegg

Apples and oranges. Completely different build philosophies and goals.
Besides the egg being 1,000 lbs heavier!!!, 2 seat vs 3, tt v8 vs na v12, dct trans vs manual, ....... the 2 cars couldn't be more different.
Someone buying the T.50 probably already owns an egg, a pista, an 812 and etc. .... Now, they want something completely different.

Not that completely different imo. And he needs to find 100 people like that, and who want to spend the 3mill. Good luck to him I guess

FYI in that video Gordon said he has already sold more than two thirds of the allocated units, so that is at least 66/100 sold.

It's a very simple, practical, pure design. Better looking than any new McLaren, Ferrari or Lamborghini. :)

imo laferrari is the ultimate in hypercar style. its a big car but absolutely perfect from every angle as far as looks go. new aston might change that opinion though. i also think the lotus electric emoji car looks better than t.50.

Very much like the original F1 then, the only hypercar that I have found underwhelming to see in person. The back will take some time to get used to but I love the ethos of the car. I did not like it much when it was released but I like it way more now and definitely more than the useless (for road) and ugly Valkyrie.

This thing is fantastic. It's a dream that's become reality -- the ultimate analog super car.

Don't nitpick any small styling details. 12.100 RPM, < 1000 kg, manual. For anyone who realizes what is being done here, technologically speaking, this is mind blowing.

Like the styling or not. This car is a fantastic achievement. Amazing attention to detail in every single facet of design and engineering. It may be the most rewarding and enjoyable car to ever drive. The size he kept it to is also amazing. Three seater mid engine V12 with the footprint of a ‘Boxter’. Can you imagine a GT4 with a 660 HP V12? OMG
