Afternoon, This is the second time it has failed - 1997 550. The first time one of the magnets came loose in the compressor and it wouldn't spin, rather than blow the fuse it damaged the fuse board. This time is appears very rusty inside and even when connecting it to a battery it wont spin, i cleaned it up but still nothing. Working on the basis that a 12v air compressor is a 12v air compressor is there any reason why a £20 one from Amazon wouldn't do the same job ? Thanks
