Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login You mean these ? Before I painted the car, you could still see where the Texas flag sticker had been ! Fascinating stuff.
So this is your car now? I may have more pictures of it but they are not with me here at home, they would be in a photo album at my Aunts home in Smithers, WV. Wouldn't be hard to find next time I'm up that way.
Unless I missed it, I dont see this one, 75440, in your list. This is from the 7 Nov 92 issue of The FML Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here is another I don't see on your list. 65837. Dont know if it's a US or not but here it is just in case. FML again, 30 Apr 88 Image Unavailable, Please Login
Tommy, I’ve read many of your posts over the past 11 years. I do own that car. It just got a comprehensive major service at 23,000 miles. I’m about to take it to my place in the NC mountains. Great car ! I’d be very appreciative to see more photos of it back in the day.
I'm sure I mentioned this in that other thread; I took those pictures at the dealership in Dallas while visiting my father for the 4th of July weekend 1988. (That's him in the white shirt). I was 20 years old at the time. My aunt had the camera, not me, and there pictures were on a roll with others taken over the course of our visit out to see him. She was careful to organize all her photos in albums and store them away on a shelf in a back bedroom closet which is why I know I can walk right to them on my next visit. I only had a few here in Alabama to post. I promise to see what else we have and post them for you.
So #73371 listed as 328GTS USA model is a 328GTB Euro located in France in my data …. Then #75317 as 412 !
Thanks Tommy. My mother did the same with photo albums. I look forward to seeing what you dig up ! Skipp

Seems like a good, clean car, and a unique opportunity to get a GTB in a rare and beautiful color combination. Typical few mods that should be fairly easy to reverse. Just at a quick glance: - Shift knob - Scuderia fender shields - depending how and when they were applied, hopefully they can be removed without paint damage - Airbox needs to have Ferrari screen properly applied - Air intake hose - Radiator cap Difficult to see the true condition of the car. I hope it sells well so the GTB’s continue to establish themselves as truly special and coveted Ferrari’s.
Highly unusual to see two GTB’s for sale. This seems like a great opportunity, if it has been as well maintained as they say. I wish the asking price were higher. https://www.ebay.com/itm/184230014189
#77338 for sale, auction at Gooding's: https://bid.goodingco.com/lots/view/1-39R7IS/1988-ferrari-328-gtb Rgds
Not yet. I decided to stay home from my usual summer trip because one of my two aunts that lives there is on O2 now 100% of the time. Politics of this virus aside, she couldn't survive a cold at this point. I am praying I can still do Thanksgiving.
Will be interesting to see how this concludes. I never would have said this a year ago, but I suspect this car would do much better on Bring A Trailer than a traditional auction house. It should be worth far more than even their estimate range. https://bid.goodingco.com/lots/view/1-39R7IS/1988-ferrari-328-gtb
Yes. Not a bad price. I’m still guessing it could have some $160-$180 on BAT, but it’s always a crap shoot.
The final figure has been adjusted. https://bid.goodingco.com/lots/view/1-39R7IS/1988-ferrari-328-gtb
At this point I think it's safe to say there are only around 120 US 328 GTB that are available to be purchased by the public. The rest of the approx. 220 that were imported have been locked away and lost to the world. The same cars keep coming up for sale. For over a decade now. -F
