    My dealer told me that the factory is closing for 2 weeks instead of the normal 4 weeks in August.

    Yes, only for the period around the ferragosto holiday in the middle of the month.

    I was really chased by my dealer to confirm ,y spider spec last week as the car was going into production next week apparently. Hope selling my Pista is this quick!

    Hi Tamas,
    Congratulations, enjoy your new Spider!

    I haven’t heard anything since July 13th when the dealer told me my Pista Spider was status 40, hopefully it’s finished and made it out before the factory shut down. Haven’t been sent any photos yet.

    Have you got the MyFerrari app? Photos appear on there, generally same day as Ferrari send you an update email

    Yes I have the app and keep checking, maybe Ferrari is behind on posting photos, hopefully they’re doing better on building my cars.

    My Pista was due April 2020 and told (when factory shut) to expect it in Sept/Oct. However, it turned up in July....the My app was completely off with updates too.
    As I understand, Pista production will continue till sept/oct 2020 which is the time they need to complete all the remaining orders.

    I got the status 40 info also at around the same date ....I hope you will have your s before they shut down

    12 days after the first photo the car was on the truck leaving the factory..
    For the states I do not know how they manage the transport.,,

    It arrives by ship to New Jersey and then is sent via covered truck to dealerships nationwide.
