Other special cars shared the brunt of the good weather weekend drives. I did not have the 89 all that long. At the time I moved overseas and the car sat for a year or two. The car was reliable given that it was purchased, as a queen. I believe it only broke down on one occasion. Good reliability was demonstrated given the car had approximately 1300 KM, at the time of purchase and the vehicle was about 15 years old. Very stiff car - but fun to drive, at hi speed.
This one might be cheaper same concept as the first one though not driven for a long time! Different results! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
a car is for driving and not for standing in a museum and I thaught always after around 20 km something has been broken to return
That’s about right, is mecuum charging 10%? I see it as 210k without fees. Still a far cry from what 2015 brought. Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yep, $210k (or $231k with Fee's?) is on the money for that car, I was offered a 954 mile one over a year ago for $150k, I passed but the guy who bought it sold it at Barret Jackson 3 months later for $200k. Pretty decent deal for both buyer and seller

Prices have indeed fallen. Cool cars, but unfortunately not for much longer. It's getting more difficult each day to find buyers for expensive older "production" exotics.
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1990-ferrari-testarossa-15/ This one was offered at 174k hère, then 124k recently. Very nice. I think they get their 124k on BAT based on condition and color Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I recently had a set of coc0 mats made for my 512 tr. I made a template and they made the mats to fits at a very reasonable price. I made the template to replace the original carpet, which I saved and replace with the coco mats. They work well and do not move around which avoids the scary high stuck throttle syndrome!! LOL Coco Matts said they would save my template under my name so I could order replacements. So if any 512tr owner is interested let me know. Dennis

‘well that’s just depressing... why doesn’t this ever apply to Toyota celiacs, supras, 914’s, 911’s, etc...
Cost of maintenance against performance. Honestly with the TR you dont get much performance value for the dollar. The very Toyota you mention could hang with TR. The Testarossa is a very cool car. We remember seeing these cars on the road when they were new. We remember they were once one of the fastest production cars in the world. Those kids of ours will never experiance that view of a Testarossa splitting traffic in a sea of Ford LTD's and wood sided station wagons..the damn things looked like they were from another planet. Today..not so much. Supercars back then..were indeed supercars. Now? Every damn car on the road is a supercar it seems..no point in going backwards when a 15k c5 Corvette would eat your lunch.
We aren’t buying Testarossa to be the quickest around. It’s not about this. Some for nostalgia, sure. But most of us love the character and iconic style along with the analog feel!!. And that engine!! The sound (with slight modification to the factory exhaust) is one of the best out there. My 2015 M3 with a tune is much faster but still not as fun to drive. For me, the Testarossa (more specifically the 512TR) is one of the best of all time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
