Hoping someone can help me. I’m looking for an owners manual, installation manual and any other literature for an Alpine Stereo 7148L. This model is from the mid 1980’s. Though I already have the stereo, I would be willing to buy another in order to get manuals/literature. If you have what I’m looking for or you know of a source, please contact me. Thank you.

Are you looking for the actual manuals or will a scan do? I’m pretty sure this is the same unit in my 308 (it’s currently in storage so not 100% sure) and, although I’m not willing to part with the manuals, I’d be happy to try and scan them for you. LMK.

You’re very kind to offer. Thank you, but I’m only looking for the original manuals. That said, if you’re ever able to post photos of everything you have relates to your stereo (if it is a 7148L) that would be great. Thank you again.

I was cleaning out my attic recently and found an old alpine radio that I had bought used from somebody and it is still in the box. I'll check to see if the manuals are with it and also what model it is. I'm pretty sure it is from the 80's.

Unfortunately it is a diffrent model number. The one I have is an Alpine am/fm cassette receiver model number 7292s and it also hyas a c.d. changer control unit with a remote, model number 5954.

After reading your post, I looked for an Alpine deck I bought 20 years ago. Knew it was somewhere in the closet, just couldn't recall the model.
CDA 7930..... new in the box. Sorry, not a match for your needs. I would like for someone that needs a deck like this to let me know as I will never use it.

Unfortunately its rather rare as most of the "L" models were fitted to various lamborghinis IF they were spec'ed as such and not instead with a Kenwood unit.

Even most Countach manual sets I have seen tend to have a different model Alpine headunit instructions (if Alpine at all)

Is that what the “L” stands for? Lamborghini?

I don’t know...I just know the only place I saw them was years ago as options on an early Diablo so it’s possible just a coincidence

I have a 8110/8120 manual which was used in the OEM security system of that era. Sorry couldn’t be more help.
