I am having trouble sourcing a legit or quality reproduction guitar-style key.

    Open to suggestions:

My last two efforts ended with the same problem:

If its 170010 Ricambi have a repro and there's originals in the UK from Ferrari which might imply a US dealer can help

Thank you! Having the correct PN is very helpful.

    After extensive digging:

Several parts suppliers (e.g Scuderia Parts) list it but can't sell it / "NLA". I spoke with Scuderia Parts and its not that it is actually NLA, just Ferrari has restricted access to OEM blanks to dealers only.

Algar says they can provide a cut key it is ~$215, but you must provide title or registration + driver license photo with matching address.

Ferrari UK only supplies it for UK delivered cars.

Whoops, it won't let me edit my post.

I will just have Algar make it.

They are fine with cutting a 170010 for a 512TR, BTW...aka it does not explicitly have to be a 355/550/550B/575/etc for the factory to cut it.

$215 for a cut key is a great price. I had two uncut ones and sold one for more than that when they were NLA. Can cost quite a bit to cut, too, since many locksmiths do not like to cut steel keys and want extra money.

FYI Specialized ECU Repair is releasing a special Enzo key with integrated fob sometime this year. It was supposed to release in spring but delayed, probably due to Covid. I am on the list for one.

I got one not original for 12 dollar... Better than nothing as you are able to drive your car at least... But I use the original, and keep the unoriginal with me in case I loose the original.
