You clowns need clarification. First BABOO was a red GTS which went to Tassie and came unstuck on a stretch of road oiled by protesters and got some pretty severed damage to the rear right. Panel damage wasn't bad as the car dropped the rear into the ditch with a soft impact with the embankment. The bad part was the farking boulder lurking in the ditch that took out the lower control arm, wheel and actually cracked the gearbox casing. Car was repaired by that mob in Northcote that does Rollers and Astons and came back pretty good. BABOO plate was removed and fitted to a Silver GTS with colour coded roof and burgundy interior, which was purchased thinking that the red GTS may not come back. Sensational car, I loved it and drove it every time I had the chance. Unfortunately it (or the driver) wasnt good enough to keep up with my Soarer one morning on the GG and cold tires or lack of talent saw it change ends and nose up a scree covered slope. Cosmetic damage to the front bar, repaired with tape saw it get home fine and a new bar was fitted and painted to match. The car was always a winner, a real beauty but I'm not sure it is the car shown previously pictured in Sydney which was appears to be a GTS with red interior, not burgundy. Unless the light is playing tricks with the camera.
Baboo I in Tassie You can clearly see the amount of oil sprayed all over the road. Obviously the big patch to the left came out of Baboo but all the rest from the protesters.
What were the losers protesting? Did anyone get charged with acts to endanger life? Surely pouring oil over a country road is a deliberate attempt to cause serious harm.
