Sweet, I only have one post-purchase picture in Jacksonville, with the doors off as the factory was modifying for full action :)
    Thank you for that!

Sounds like the ex-Lassen car, repainted to remove the dolphins? How good is that paint work? Have you seen it yet?

Is that 19,000 miles or km?

The odometer is km...large difference, 19,000km is about 11800 miles whereas 19,000 miles is about 30,600km

    any pictures yet?

Check with Evans, this one (#28) has been continuously maintained...but, maybe you were referring to the Jota kit getting dialed in?

No, mine was #25. I found both the Jota kits with Valentino and Steve at Driven installed them. We spent a ton of time just getting the suspension set up before even installing the Jota kit. Getting the Jota kit to work is a whole other story!! And a long one. lol

No. The way the car comes from the factory, the rear springs are insanely stiff, it makes the rear end come around very quickly, so we spent hours dialing in new springs, also camber etc to get it set up properly. It was a lot. When I spun the car, it was obviously my fault, but I had the early Mich Cup tires on it which needed to come up to temp to function. My impatient ass did not realize this and when it came around it was like being on ice. That being said, with the set up, the car handled insane. I did a day of hard driving in the canyons with a CGT and SLR and the SE30 was right there. It's one of my favorite cars.

Cold cup tires are quite slippery, indeed!
The rear springs are stiff because the car is tested for high speeds to keep it from bouncing around too much, did you ever try loosening the sway bar settings (control on center console)? Sounds like you wanted more of a "rally" setup, to hang tight/flow with curves.

Glad you got it dialed in the way you wanted.

    John,

One of your 'brothers' owned a purple car :D.

I think he lives or lived, in Hawaii or California.

The car was set up perfect. And Steve from Driven is a ****ing witch. The guy is awesome. Had my nose up the CGT ass all day. Actually in hind sight wish I hadn’t done the Jota. I had been obsessed with it and to be honest the car is much better without.

Hello Steve, I am holding on to #10 as long as possible :) Still the best!

You had a black one, #12, bummer James D wrecked it but it was fixed, do you know if Eric still has it?

And yes, I remember the pic, and I took several myself while it was at Momentum :)

Gotcha, yes I known Steve & Kim, since he was at Burtoni's :) He is on his game when it comes to Diablos!

The Jota is a very cool look, saw my first one in Germany back in 97, it is quite the package and really puts the car on an even sharper edge with all that extra plumbing!
