Watching you shift and how the tranny connected tells me there's isn't a problem with using the kevlar clutch.
    Bravo!

The clutch actually feels really smooth. I thought that it was going to chatter or bite really quick but it feels just fine. I can actually just slowly release the clutch and tile out without giving it gas.

Really outstanding! What manufacturer did you use for the Kevlar clutch?

I ran a kevlar clutch when my car was an F1. It just too a little extra work on the SD2 to smooth it out.

Did it last any longer than the OEM clutch or did you get rid of it before it was worn out because you didn't like it?

Still using it after the conversion.
I put about 5K on it before and due to the fact I had a Stradale TCU with a great setup the clutch looked great so I left it alone.

Has anyone ever needed to replace a fuel tank on their 360? Unfortunately I have a hair line crack on the drivers side and need to replace it. Just from looking at it I don’t think I have enough room to remove it unless I pull the motor. I don’t think it will squeeze out even with the header removed.

engine removal is required. Even with the engine removed, it is a pain in the ass to remove and install the fuel tank. took me an hour to install put in snugly in place in my first try.

also, to drain the fuel, it is easy to twist the little neck. sometimes the bronze hex nut is so tight that you'd bent the aluminum. So be careful there.
    been there, done that

Thanks. I wish I had found one when I purchased my but none were available at the time. I am kind of glad I went this route because I really got to know my car! It’s been fun so far. I love working on cars and this one def. kept me busy.

Yeah hats off to you. It’s a huge task but I agree. Too many people are scared to touch their cars but I’ve done the odd maintenance and parts replacement and at the end the day it’s just a car and with the right guidance from places like FC it’s easy and indeed very rewarding to work on them yourself
