At Dallas in 01 I had to show two judges where the trouble light pluged in a 308. Made me wonder.

Why would a Ferrari need a trouble light?

Phone number of a tow service and a good mechanic maybe

    Ha Ha.

And Tommy, tell these people that you were kidding when you said you had tons of these plate frames lying around. They are extremely hard to find and so restoring my original was the extent that I had to go to to make my car perfect.

Sorry to bring one out of the archives but I am looking for a replacement early rear frame.
The last 2 studs I had on mine broke off.

Tommy, do you have any of left?

    Thanks!

Bringing a very old thread back from the dead.... Has anyone seen the rear plate frame done this way? No studs on it, just the fasteners. It's a GTS delivered December 1978 from Hollywood Sport Cars.

My 78 308 from Hollywood Sport cars had the original aluminum license frame. I had a machine shop weld in some additional aluminum to replace the aluminum studs with Stainless steel studs screwed in welded aluminum female threads. Then powder coated it black. I put a rubber sheet between plate frame and body.
