Drew Pritchard believes they are poorly assembled kit cars in the Jag and Mercury episode. I thought I saw the 348 in the background and then they actually cut to it. His co-host likes the styling of the 348. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
lol as if the old jags don't look like poorly assembled kit cars. Or pretty much every single car before the early 90's. The 308,.... honestly cmon, ohh the Dino for gods sake is that a "Kelmark GT" I have seen that question...
I’d nominate the Lamborghini Diablo or countach for that title way before the 348... just sayin. but bottom line is no one cares. Enjoy the cars. Robb
I love my 348 Spider and drive it nearly everyday. His opinion changes nothing for me. Found it odd and figured I’d share. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
And the Lotus Esprit and the TVRs of the era way way way way before the 348. Frankly, I love the way my 348 is assembled. It's representative of an era just before things change massively. And driving it, I never get the feeling I'm behind the wheel of a poorly assembled kit car--I love the interior and the driving position. Best of all the steering and the steering wheel.
It's not a youtube episode, so it's not monetized clickbait. It's a show on Motortrend (formerly Velocity). The youtube clip was posted by the original poster here and is a cell phone video of the segment from Motortrend TV.
Thanks. But nearly every video, when viewed online, is monetized. https://www.multichannel.com/pr-feed/ten-enthusiast-network-turns-zuora-monetize-its-motor-trend-ondemand-video-subscription-service-405910 https://www.brightcove.com/en/blog/2019/01/video-monetization-101-basics-video-monetizing-online-video
Actually I don’t have advertising turned on and it’s set to unlisted. Couldn’t attach the video via the iPhone app to the thread. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I was never referring to you personally as the baiter (not sure why you and Brian assumed that). YT is owned and operated by Google... they monetize everything. But aside from all of that, what's the point of promoting someone who hates the 348 by presenting it to those who love the car (e.g. this forum)?
Drew Pritchard is a pro-Porsche/Anti-Ferrari guy - Anybody who prefers a souped up Beetle over a Ferrari obviously knows nothing about cars! (Sorry - smilies aren't working for me for some reason)
I put 300 miles on my 348 yesterday on the back twisty roads of San Diego with a small group and had a total blast. We stopped at a bakery for a break and a bunch of motorcycle riders came over admiring the car and asking questions, so I don't really care what he thinks
This is so silly, what about the Jags then? that must be the worst cars ever....and they still haven't figured it out. I had a garage neighbor that saw me working on my F355, he told me he used to own a Ferari 458 and he had to bring it in for annual service and they called him that they needed to change the front rotors, he had to pay close to $5000 inc rotors and labor. Anyway he told me that he sold if after that because it's crazy money and he bought a Porsche 911 instead and it was so much better in every way compared to Ferrari. I got annoyed by him and told him " Well, everyone owns a Porsche 911 these days, you can't really compare a Porche with a Ferrari, Ferrari is all about passion and racing, it's not clearly your cup of tea," He got upset and walked away....hehehe... Many Porsche owners are just annoying....
Yes you are correct my friend. Us Porsche owners who are also Ferrari owners are very interesting. Stay thirsty my friend.
Great... now, who is Drew Pritchard? ETA: Ohhh, right. That guy on the TV show. What's his opinion on the build quality over at Lotus?
In fairness if I saw that I would have posted it too as a wtf albeit with quite a bit more editorial on it though. Perhaps there was just a "little" good natured ribbing there between brothers, you all know OP is a 355s rule 348s drool guy.
