    I have a mondial 8 in the shop that needs a crank sensor for bank 5-8. I can only find the later version. I need the 2 pin style connector for a plug and play change out.

    However, I do have a later sensor. I was thinking to just splice in the old connector onto the new sensor..but I'm not so sure that will work..any ideas?

    Or a source for these sensors?

    I cant speak for the Mondial, but when I replaced the 3 sensors on my 81 GTSi, only the later sensors were available. I cut the plugs from my original sensors and soldered to the wiring of the new sensors. Worked no problem at all and with some careful use of colored heat shrink, barely noticeable from original
