FWIW One of the recent Forza magazines had an interesting take on F1 by Mr. Frankl. I think he offered some good points on how F1 can get back to its roots, become more simplified, and as a result be more "affordable" for teams. I think it's a good read. And speaking of F1, I had the occasion to watch the documentary on Williams on NETFLIX. They showed footage of various Williams F1 cars on track at various races, and to me THAT's what F1 is about. Great looking cars, slipping, sliding, screaming engines, drivers allowed to be real people. Not the spec racing series it's become.
