    Hi
I am seeking some thoughts and opinions on the above two cars. I have an older Maserati (Mexico) and am now looking at buying a newer manual. The above two cars with similar mileage ( 50k kms ~ 31k miles) are available for essentially the same price. Can current or previous owners proffer an opinion please on - reliability; drive-ability; parts supply.

I am into GTs (hence Mexico) and am not sports car driver/racer. So it does not need to take corners at 10 10ths etc. More GT tours etc.
    Many Thanks
    Phil

Quite different cars, two different generations.
If it is a true AC, that one is a collector, very few of them (an additional premium if it is a manual). For the same price, same condition, that would be my choice.

I'm surprised, I thought you preferred the ghibli.

Owning both, I think it's really a tough choice.
The ghibli is 200kg lighter, and with the shorter gear ratio, I think it's a little bit faster. It's more raw for sure.
The 3200, even in the Assetto corsa version is a little more GT, with more creature comforts, and a design to die for.
Both car are still analog, with not too much electronics interfering.

About the reliability, you'll have more problems with the 3200gt, I think. The engine is bullet proof, but the electronic can sometimes play a trick or two.
But it's not as bad as you would expect. The ghibli is less troublesome.

Maintenance cost is about the same, and there is nothing really complex, even the timing belt change.

The ghibli, even the GT, are cheaper than an assetto corsa, most of the time.
The ghibli cup is about the same price, or even more expensive (and way more rare).

I think the ghibli is more special, but the 3200 is prettier, nobody can argue about that and often easier to live with.

    Tough choice, take the two!

    I am caught!
But it's unfair, you take a Cup to compare to the AC...
And the OP was more about a GT car, hence my advice for the AC ;)
