Very, very nice. Outstanding build. Love the spec and the livery. I really need to do one of these some day.
I do like what you have done. All of it has been done correctly, really like the MFI conversion to EFI, I hope it has one ECU map for sounding like old 70's RSRs uneven, race cammed idle that sounds like it is about do die every so often.
I've been working on the third build and went a much more conservative route as far as the livery goes. Albert blue with very very faint ghost stripes. I did spineybeck leather interior with woven leather for the seat inserts, mid dash and door panels. Engine on this is going to be a 3.8 EFI built by Jae at Mirage International. 930 brakes and trailing arms, dual cylinder brake master, Wevo short shift, centerfill 100 liter tank, all metal construction etc. Started life as a 72 911T. Amazing. Possibly dumb question: isn't it a PITA to get to the middle to add gas, with the paranoia of spilling gas on that great paint? Couldn't you keep a fender nozzle but center mount the tank anyway?
Beautiful. All three are amazing but I think I like this one best of all. Any updates on this build? Will it be going to market?
I look at this thread once a month. My perspective remains unchanged and I need one of these in my life at some point.
