    Hello,

Does anyone happen to know of any trustworthy services, based here in the States, in Italy or abroad, that can inspect and import vintage cars from Italy into the the USA?

I am looking for a service that can do everything from "A to Z", clear customs on both ends etc...and get the car safe and sound to my address.

Any recommendations would be very much appreciated.

    Many thanks,

You are in the Bay Area, that makes is problematic. Getting it here is one thing, getting it road legal in CA is completely different. CA has specific laws about gray market cars AND they do not match the US standard so they don't follow the 25 year rule.

... that's the longest wait for an answer I have ever noticed.

    Well done.

You will probably get more mileage in the silver forum.

Have you tried contact Cosdel International (or something like that). I have no personal experience, but heard of them through colleagues/friends and believe they’re somewhere in your area.

I would start with Alex, across the bay in Richmond.California // +1-510-236-3008 // 1200 Wright Avenue Richmond CA 94804 USA. I believe that he took over West Coast Shipping, which used to be in Alameda. They seem to have their fingers on the pulse.
Good luck, and let us know how you do.

I would second WCS. They recently did a shipment for me and were exceptional. Good service and even better communication.

There are only a couple of importers approved by the NHTSA. They have a list on their website. All of them can get the job done but only 1 (I think the 2nd is gone now) could possibly bring it to CA.
