You're quite right. That's what comes of not having finished merging all my data and then only looking in one place.

It was for sale at :
Autofficina in October 2016 (asking £95,000)
Millenium Heroes in November 2016 (asking £97,995)
GVE London in August 2017 (asking £99,000)
R&W Motor Co in April 2018 (asking £94,925 reduced in stages to £89,925 then £79,925 in July 2018)
PMS Motors in September 2018 until January 2019 (asking £79,925)

So it was imported from Japan in 2016 and has been for sale since it hit these shores. Which goes towards explaining the lack of maintenance.

Up to a point. It has done 3,000kms but also if you want to sell a car a complete lack of maintenance doesn't help.

JT- Yup, missed it. It definitely has the update and was built around July/August 2004.

    Winning Bid - £55,000 + fees (£58,300).

It did well all things considered.

Nice early 575M apparently in concourse condition. My favorite Ferrari color, too.

There does seem to be a bit of manual mania going on, what with that 430 result, but it could just be a few people of a certain age (like me) indulging their gated Ferrari dreams as they have been served notice of their mortality by COVID.

I, for one, have never driven my Ferraris as much as in the last 3 months and it has been a hoot all the way.

Terry, Giallo Medena is a favorite of mine too. At least my F355 Challenge is that color.

The Ferrari North Europe press test car 599 HGTE was in Giallo Modena with Giallo stitching inside. It looked the business, one of the nicest looking 599s. We called it the flying banana, but in an affectionate way.

So rare to spot a Maranello in Giallo.

Wasn't that fun?! FCA doesn't go to Pocono anymore. That's a shame because that's a great track for a novice.

My 550 is Blu Pozzi. I like that color but I would be just as happy if it were yellow.

UK is not the best place to sell LHD cars.

Still it suprises me how many pop up for sale. I guess many of these arrived on these shores when the values went banana's a few years back and people were importing from countries where values were more sensible.

LHD kind of appeals to me on a couple of levels. I'd like to use the car on the continent and it would be cheaper.

However it would need to be a lot cheaper than the repsective RHD version especially if it originated in Japan and has little in the way of history. The thing is they never seem to remain cheap enough to be worth the punt IMO. It will be very interesting to see what these reach. There's a lot of cash swilling around in the economy right now and a lot of bored people looking for something to do with it. I wouldn't be surprised if these reach a "You paid how much for it!?" level. We'll find out soon.

I note the Justin Banks High miler is now down to an asking price of £50K and still no interest. It really is not a nice example.

My F512M is LHD, as was my 550. I bought the 512 in Barcelona and the 550 in Rome. When the euro exchange rate was 1.42 to £1, so a significant discount. But I flew over and checked out those cars' histories. I would be warier of buying a LHD in the UK because it's so hard to know a history. On the flip side, there are bargains around and these cars were designed as LHD.
