Wow - 75k miles at the wheel is an accomplishment.

I have a 2003 360 gated 6 manual and I drove a friend's 2005 430 F1. I like the involvement of the 360 stick much better. The 430 F1 shifts faster and is easier to shift (too easy for me, if that makes sense). The 360 gated manual shifts slower but I am in control of the car more; with proper modulation of the three pedals. When I make a great upshift or great downshift in the 360 it is so rewarding. Also when I was in the 430, it seems bigger (and it is), in that it did not seem to wrap around me as much as the 360. The 360 had a lighter but twitcher feel...it feel more lively but not as planted. The 430 has more power but it also felt heavier. The 430 seemed like due to its heaviness feel felt that it took a longer time to stop/slow due it having more inertia and more momentum. Acceleration on the 430 is quicker but it again it left heavier. The 430 has the driving mode selection on the steering wheel (which could be good and bad) while the 360 only has a sport selection which only affects the suspension. I feel that as a driver, I am driving and controlling the 360 more as compared to the 430 which has more nannies.

If I was into racking/tracking and wanting to go as quick as possible, then I would get the 430 in either F1 or gated manual.

Granted that I would prefer a manual over an F1, in whatever car. I have not driven a 430 6 speed but sure would like to see what is the difference. Being that a 430 F1 and a 360 gated manual are in the same ball park money wise, for myself I would get the 360 gated manual.

    If given a choice between a 360 F1 and a 430 F1, I would not know which to get as I have not tried an 360 F1.

If given a choice between a 360 gated manual and a 430 gated manual, maybe the 430 gated manual because it is worth more and produced in more limited number. But as far as for driving pleasure, I do not know?

I must say that I have driven the new Ferrari Tributo, two new McLarens, and a new Lamborghini Huracan Evo, and for the enjoyment of driving, getting that visceral feel, and getting a bigger smile, I would stay and will stay with my 360 gated 6, and that says a lot how special that car (360 gated 6) is.

Of course, I am bias, but bias based on my personal experience, likes, and dislikes. My 2 cents worth.

I agree in regard to feeling. 360 feels more raw and go cartish despite the 430 being superior in power and handling. I am going to lower my 430 a little and change the aligment specs. I do not see how the 430 could feel that much different given the same chassis.
