So I update Firefox Saturday night - I always do the
updates when they come out, and it rendered it useless.
I could barely do anything with it, each 'click' on anything
took 45 seconds to 'never' to navigate.

I uninstalled and reinstalled it, and it now works fine.
    Anyone else?

Oh - this was on a Windows 10 desktop.

    Could just be a fluke

I love Firefox but I hate the Mozilla company for all their missteps, can't blame them though, gotta figure out a way to replace all the money Google was giving them

Check out Brave if you're still having issues. It's a fork of Chrome without all the tracking, and includes added security.

Annnnd I see I just revived a thread from ~7 months ago. Point still stands at least

Opera, Vivaldi and Midori are all great browsers too.

Why does Firefox hog so much memory? It's ridiculous. Is there a way to limit it?

Some cool new things - Supports multiple picture-in-picture videos for those live moments you wish to watch at the same time from different streaming outlets.

Isolated Cookies in Strict mode - Every site gets its own cookie container providing a layer of privacy from Super Cookies that snoop on your browsing habits. Facebook comes to mind, since it likes
to read your cookies and gather information about which sites you visit, and so on.

Not sure how it will play out on Windoze, as it's a resource hog. It may crash, sputter, protest your use of wanting privacy, snitch on you and reject your use.
I'm using this on Zorin(Linux Ubuntu under the hood), Firefox runs slicker than snot.

Thx, that sounds like good news. I've been trying Opera some but it is slow as Christmas.
