    Benjamin, best I can tell it is original. The pages are of stiff card stock material. It has the look, feel, and that great “old book smell” of an original in excess of 40 years.

    I would also "second" this is an original item...very nice!

    1978 would show the catalyst equipped engine, but otherwise would definitely cover the entire range of 1975 thru 1977 "early cars"..

    Definitely not like that. A much more mellow, ever so slight musky (not musty) fragrance.

    Your statement does remind me though of an Alfa Sprint GT that I had bought several years ago. The seller gave me several books and service manuals from his library that doubled as his cigar smoking room. The odor from the books was tremendously strong. So much so that even When storing the books in my garage, the odor could sometimes sneak into the house.

    Wish I was not sitting on a desert island right now, eating coconuts, as any '76 - '78/79 Owner would find this a huge asset!!
    I fell out with JRV over a lost/borrowed part, I made good on it....but did not see him the last year of his life.

    They say his house was ransacked before the ME picked up the body, so no telling where his huge library of knowledge went...….:/

    tx246 maybe the last person to see him, getting the Dino out of the yard.
