I do like my red calipers with the newly installed Fiorano cross drilled rotors... but I like having all the original pieces to go with the car.

Had the old sills pulled. They had some rust at the weather stripping screw area and basically didn’t look very good.

Purchased replacements and they have a different finish. So new ones painted to match and now installing the new rubber.

I’ll install like Elliott’s method with the super thin Velcro vs glue for easy cleaning and less chance of damage if removing.

The driver’s door had two areas of surface rust near the rubber weather stripping that had been there since 2002. The third owner had tried some touch up paint but the area got worse over the last 18 years...

So I took care of it for good. Looks fantastic fixed and I am happy that here in AZ, the car should not develop any further issues.

I think it was an original paint issue from the factory on that area of the door. A crack in the side rubber made it worse...

New Solid rear grills for the F355 and 360 added and painted to match... since that’s how both cars were delivered from the factory.

I always like having all the parts.

I need a couple on the glass of my mirrors just to remind me how lucky I am to drive a 355F1 when I am looking at people trying to keep up ha ha

Had Copter John stop by since we are neighbors.

He has a great 348 spider. Beautiful condition.

He said he didn’t need directions to my house having seen the Ferrari flags as he has flown over the house a number of times... epic.

Great little visit this afternoon. Killer garage and cars. Looking forward to doing some drives and wrenching in the future.
    Cheers!

Moved the rear Laser / radar sensors to below the license plate. Before, the sensors were up top and blocked the rear lights. The license plate would be mostly dark at night except for the edges. Not a good thing to attract attention, so now it seems all good.

    Hi Julia,

Selling the Aston Vantage to make way. Other cars in the garage are also placeholders except for the F355. That one is going the distance.

Dream add would be f12 but it is currently out of my budget. Will look at the 550 / 575 and 599 for now. I like the looks of the 550 / 575 relating back to the 250 / 275 / Daytona. They are kind of a perfect combo with the F355 but the cars are definitely old school.

So I'm not sure how many older cars I want in the garage at one time. As I get older I like the newer build and a bit of tech / interior improvements. 2009+

    I don't need 4 seats. But otherwise:

FF is almost an F12 with the newer build / tech / engine / comfort at fraction of the cost but its' looks are a bit polarizing.

612 is also nice but not as bold in the exterior design. It's pretty minimalistic in its aesthetics.

599 is also a bit polarizing in its looks. Engine looks epic. It's a shame the buttresses look tacked on to me. Interior looks very nice.

Definitely want a road trip cruiser that's smooth.

What model would you all go with to go next to the 355?

Great headers... Did the interior of yours have metal shavings in them? It is as if they ground down all the welds and forgot to blow out all the residual?
