Stereotypes? I bought my first Ferrari on my 29th birthday, so I must be dealing illegal substances. Heard that every time I went for a spin with the top down.

    Kind regards,

    Nuno.

Bought my first Ferrari when I was in my fifties, not because I couldn’t afford it, I couldn’t fit into them comfortably at 6’2” until the 458 came around and was sized for people bigger than my 5’5” 120lb Italian father in law!

Yep, same here. I bought my first Ferrari when I was 25, lived in a small town at the time. Must be a drugs dealer, must be a lotto winner. Uhmm, no, what about hard work? Some people just can’t imagine you can work your ass off and buy a Ferrari. Even at a younger age.

I am 39 now, daily drive a 599 and the reactions have changed. Now I only get the small penis sign every now and then, from losers driving a piece of **** car LOL. I feel sorry for them and just laugh.

One story I remember from 12 years ago because it was so crazy. I was at an outdoor dance party (Mystery Land) in my city. A random guy in the crowd sees me, and ask me “aren’t you the guy with the red Ferrari?”. I had no idea who he was, but he wasn’t wrong so yea that’s me... his next question was “okay, I want to buy xtc pills, do you sell them?”.

not that the original op of this can see my answer, but I can't help but answer these two questions. it's because we like to see women in hot high heels and in make up.

I was asked if my 458 was a kit car today, does that count?

As far as questions people ask us go, that’s actually not that bad.

Once a guy pulled alongside and asked if I would engage in a part exchange: his wife for my Ferrari. She was right there in his car. Never saw the guy again, but if I was a betting man, I’d say he’s divorced by now.

A real shame his wife wasn’t hot enough to make me stop and entertain the offer :p:D

Come to think of it, are Ferrari owners stereotyped as playboys?

    Kind regards,

    Nuno.

People ask me fairly frequently how much my car cost. I always reply “with or without the wife tax?”

I had a funny exchange with a guy referring to my Ferrari ownership with the overplayed comment, “overcompensating for something?”
I said, “Guys who brag about having big dicks are overcompensating for their tiny bank accounts.”

We both had a good laugh. :)
