    It’s all setting up for another election where the loser will blame the system and say that the worlds greatest democracy isn’t functioning in a fair and transparent manner

    I remember last time when a certain person was predicting there would be unrest on the streets if the election victory was snatched by the crooked opposition

    Glad I don’t live there

    It's quite funny switching between cnn and fox. The exact same story with a completely different spin. Makes it impossible to know what's real and what's not. I'm sure they both report facts occasionally....the trick is trying to know when! Actually, maybe never.

    Was politics always like this?

    Bas hit the nail on the head with his post too. Nothing positive is being done for the electorate when politicians are doing nothing but attacking and defending themselves. I think trump gets some stuff to happen, but more often then not he's fighting off usually unfounded attacks.

    I don’t support violence in any way, shape or form but this is NOT about politics... this is about an entrenched (and growing) problem with ‘security forces’ whose ranks are filled with below-par members who think they’re Rambo with a license.

    Don't get me started on security at Sydney airport .... I'm cleared to top secret by ASIO and I have these "people" at the airport questioning me as to what I'm going to do with a screwdriver in my laptop bag when I got to fix computers at SIA :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

    Oh I just thought I'd highjack a 777 .....FFS, I'm cleared, have a badge with my photo on it and I have a tool-of-trade permission form signed by the SIA security

    I had no ticket to fly so what was I going to do ??!!
