I have placed a deposit on a Ferrari California 30. I made attempts at purchasing a couple of different 2015 and 2016 models, but was unable to reach an agreement on price. I have placed a deposit on a low mileage 2014 that has the vast majority of options I am looking for:

    Red/tan
    Low miles
Carbon fiber driving zone w/ leds
    Front and rear parking sensors
    Rearview camera
    Cruise Control
    Exact 20" wheels I wanted
    Yellow tach
    Has full frontal PPF installed

Probably easier to post a link, but those were my main priorities:

    https://www.blackhorsemotors.com/vehicle-details/2014-ferrari-california-convertible-9967f25bcd540041a51d1ccfb15daaee

Fingers crossed everything goes well. Debating on having it shipped or flying in and driving it home from Florida to Texas next week. Thank you to everyone who provided advice along the way.

I debated between the one I chose and this 2015 in California:

The dealer in California wouldn't go down any further than 136.9k. It is a well equipped car the dealership has used as a demo/loaner. Almost 13k miles as a demo/loaner was a little concerning. Some people do not treat those as well as they treat their own vehicle. It was a tough decision because the car is so well equipped and attractive, but ultimately we couldn't reach an agreement. So I saved 23k and went with the California 30.

The only thing the California 30 doesn't have that I was looking for is the premium sound system, but if I am not satisfied with the sound system that is easier option to fix than others.

I did not pay asking price although I didn't get the discount I requested. I feel like I'm overpaying some, but, in the grand scheme of things it is what I want and represented to be in mint condition.

That's a great way to bond with your car. Sound system? Meh! You'll be too busy listening to the exhaust!

It is decided then, I shall fly and drive home! I have court most of next week, but can fly out Thursday afternoon or Friday morning and will take a few days to make an extended road trip home! (with pics of course). Glad to have a Ferrari back in my shop. When I sold my 360 I didn't realize how much I'd miss it!

Congrats, that's the nicest non-yellow California I have seen! Enjoy the drive home, it will be epic. I'll be also be driving from Florida to Texas, but in October for the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Austin, if it goes on as planned.

I am still excited for the road trip with a non-refundable plane ticket purchased.

However, given all the riots going on across the country at the moment my bride and kids are urging me to just have it shipped home. :(:(:(

Driving a bright red Ferrari across the country may not be the wisest decision at the moment. I'm keeping my options open, but starting to look at transportation companies. o_Oo_Oo_O

I thought about that. I was looking at the map to see where I could stay. Then the issue becomes finding a place that its safe to park the car overnight.
