I am looking at several models and made an offer on a couple. There were not outright rejected, but an "I'll have to get back to you reply".

This is one model I am looking at:

    https://www.ferrariofrm.com/inventory/used-2015-ferrari-california-rear-wheel-drive-convertible-zff77xja2f0205808

According to the sales rep it has never been titled and has been used as a dealer demo/show car.

Now, there is no way I am paying 140k for a 2015 with 12.6k miles. I am curious as to more experienced minds thoughts on the value of this particular CPO. It is heavily optioned which is attractive.

Any input on the true or "fair" value of an offer is much appreciated.

    Cheers,

    John

With the full carbon fiber and HS, resale red, I think they'll get what they're asking. I was asking $126k for mine with double the miles. Granted I was probably asking too much as well, but I don't think it's that poorly priced. If you want it, I would shoot for a few % off but you'll lose this one if you hold out.

Bob I agree it is very well equipped, but I just don't think it is worth 140k to me. In this thread:

    https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/2015-cali-t-price-offer-for-first-ferrari.620624/

Timothy indicated he purchased a CPO 2015 with 12k miles and the Ferrari dealer came off the 140k asking price over 10k. I'll keep searching and the right deal will appear.

I certainly appreciate all the F Chat member feedback and advice. It is very much appreciated.

Make the offer. See what happens. You could well be right. I could easily just be biased comparing to what I believe my car is worth, right? It's what the market will bear, you're the market. Make the offer and see what happens.

The Rancho Mirage car is a pretty nice build ... the right options, and it's resale red ... mileage is a tad on the high side, as ridiculous as it is to say that about a car with 12k miles. I think it's priced more where I'd expect a 5k mile car to be. But it's also the right time of year to sell a convertible. Have you made an offer?

The one thing I learned over the years was not to walk away from the right car in the right color with the right options over a few thousand dollars. I drive my cars, so I don't need to pay for less mileage as I am going to burn it off quickly anyway. In fact, the first thing I do on the Ferrari is set the mileage indicator to fuel range instead and forget how to put it back ;) But that's just my view, for some, the hunt is a lot of the fun of the process, I just want to put the car in the driveway.

I agree Vic, and if it was in my dream color combination (Rosso Mugello/Cuoio) I wouldn't hesitate to pay more. My hesitation is the mileage. As you stated, its silly that 12k is "higher mileage" on a 2015, but in the Ferrari world it is. Also agree it is priced more like a 5k car. I have made an offer, it wasn't rejected, but was told the sales manager would call me back on Tuesday.

There is a good selection available. If I were open to more color combinations there would be very good deals out there. I'll let you know how my search progresses. I'm making offers this week (already made a couple).

I love this color combination, but in my humble opinion they are not realistic in their asking price. A low optioned car and no cpo warranty.

Isn't it gorgeous Vic? I'm tempted to go through with my initial plan of buying a California 30 and just keep my eye out for my dream combination of Russo Mugello (or similar) with Cuoio diamond stitching interior and should one appear jump on it. I'm too impatient to be without a "weekend car" to wait for one to appear at a reasonable deal.

PM me if you are seriously considering the white/striped one in New York. The red/tan car in your 1st post is the ideal for most buyers and would be a good deal at $130ish, but if it doesn't grab you then it's not the one. I spent 3 months searching for a yellow one to no avail, finally bought my 2015 Grigio Silverstone/Cuoio car($256K MSRP) with 16K miles for $115K. I was fully intending to wrap it yellow, but the color has grown on me, especially since I tinted the windows and windshield.

Paul, I'm sticking to a red/tan (burgundy/cuoio) combination. Was yours a CPO or purchased at a 3rd party / private party?

John, mine was a private party sale, has CPO warranty from prior owner until August which I can extend. I'm sure I will, as it is getting 2 new window switches and switch gear replaced under warranty next week, because they redesigned the plastic switch and stopped making the original design.

Paul, I came across this video while watching youtube. I think your color combination is gorgeous. The one in this video is nice enough for me to consider forgoing Red, but it's long gone. I actually love the color, but my bride wants Red.

Silverstone is a great color. Came very close to buying an F430 spider in silverstone over tan last summer but the dealer wholesaled it out from under me after we had agreed on the deal.

I went black with my T but I loved my Cali 30 grigio titanio over couio ... still regret parting with it but life gets in the way sometimes. I thought the color really accentuated the lines of the original California and looked terrific with the optional rims and yellow calipers.
