The belt change for an F355 is quite a task. As many know, it requires the engine to come out. Here you can see a great deal of the engine's belt area and how things interact. This is specifically a Berlinetta, but service-wise it's the same. What do you see in the pictures and what would you like to see in the future? I'm very excited to share the intake repaint for this mondial. We started off with an intake that has seen better days. This is common of older paint. Then we moved to the paint process and the final finishing to get what you see below. The Mondial engine bay is looking perfect. The color palette accents the whole vehicle nicely. Only a few more final touches to this and it's made quite the journey. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The detailed pictures are great, they show us a side of these cars that we rarely get to see. It also helps to validate the skill and expertise needed to service them correctly.
Wow.very nice job! A question though, do you have any expectation of how long this repaint will last?
Thank you I appreciate your complement The life expectancy of the new paint 15 years or better depends on the environment.
Beautiful! Speaking of paint, Tony, can you folks change the color of the calipers on a California T from the factory silver to yellow, and what might that cost?
Yes we can have the brake calipers changed to Ferrari yellow. Cost that is something we can go over in privet.
For our clients requesting to have Ferrari Brake calipers painted to a Ferrari Red or Yellow this is not just a paint job, this procedure is more involved. We start by disassembly the Brakes and and Brake Calipers, removing the dust seals, removing all the pistons and piston seals, clean the brake fluid, strip the paint, glass bead all the calipers. Now we start with a complete stripped down brake caliper. We proceed powder coating the brake calipers with the color of your request. After we install new Ferrari decals and clear cote over the decals. now we proceed with installation of new seals ,pistons and all new dust seals. Ultimately this is your Ferrari but we take it very serious when we are working on brakes because is your life behind that Steering wheel. Hope i did an okay job trying to convey this procedure.
