Mark Gerisch is the guy with the beard. He constructed the car on a design by Dave Cummins on Hil's 250 PF Coupe chassis. Frank Beard saw Hil's car and then had one built for himself.
Saw a car in Salt Lake City, UT about 10 years ago when the Ferrari dealership was still Steve Harris Imports (Now it is part of the Ken Garff group). The car was a royal blue color, and the salesman said it was a Ferrari 212 Import. I think he meant 'Export'. It had white lettering of sponsors and a white number on doors and hood. Not sure what it was but it was clearly was some version of a 212 race car. I recall it being a 2-door hard top with wire wheels. Any ideas? Just curious. The car made an impact on me.
09813 was originally a gorgeous 275 GTB/4 Berlinetta Scaglietti sold new in Italy. Painted Argento with Nero. 1987 converted and deformed by Allegretti in Modena into a look-a-like of Preston Henn's yellow 275 GTB Speciale (06885). This conversion was done for Greg Garrison. Hopefully one day it will be brought back to a proper Scaglietti Berlinetta. Marcel Massini
