I think you accidentally posted these in the Pista Spider section.

Well it’s coupe vs spider. On paper the coupe is lighter and stiffer but I damned if I can tell. The spider feels like a rocket ship too.

Took the car out for a quick "covid relief" drive yesterday. Just amazing! You forget how quick it is - it really takes your breath away.

    I’d guess Fuoco.

I know I'm going to get gunned down dead for even suggesting this, but the front end of the Pista is not as clean looking as that of the 488. I also think the air intakes in the rear wings ,as long as fitted with a carbon splitter , look better onnthe 488. Not sure about the Spider wheels either.
It's a bit like the king not wearing any clothes perhaps, nobody dare say it.

When you look at the yellow 488 Spider a few posts back the car just looks right. I fully get it that the Pista is a more focused and 'better' car, but that front end.......

I am a little biased as I own a 488, and may possibly even buy a Pista at some point, but I'm trying to be subjective here.

I'd agree that the standard 488 is cleaner in front, but more impressive and sculpted? No. I'd take the Pista front end in a heartbeat, just because there's so much functionality and I like a little busy. I'd also agree that the rear vents on the standard look better bisected as they are, but once again functionality changed; but the shape and nuance of curves is extremely well executed on both.

I actually think the F8 has the best looking front end. It somehow seems even more aggressive than the Pista’s.

May be somebody can be interested......it looks like a very basic configuration almost delivery mileage. Bill of landing shows 53, now 79!

outside: no carbon for front spoilers and splitters, exterior sill cover, rear diffuser and engine bay - all must have options on Pista, IMHO
inside: all standard, no extended carbon for instruments cluster and no matt carbon. No JBL (a must option for Spider, IMHO)

Very curious to see the result btw.....for US Fchatters shouldn’t be difficult to determine the original MSRP
