Yes, as I said, it is 1971 Ferrari 512 F chassis #1022. Jean-Pierre van Rossem purchased it 2 May 1989 at the Christie's auction in Monaco and paid US$ 1'301'358 for it (incl. buyer's premium). This racing Ferrari was sold ten years later, 6 June 1999, at the Appelboom auction in Antwerp, Belgium, on behalf of van Rossem's company Moneytron. Marcel Massini

What’s with all these photoshopped and garbage modified photos? This thread is meant to celebrate the F40 as it was produced and meant to be. Please keep it as such.
Hopefully some day this poor car will reside with a responsible owner who will restore it back to its original specification.
CGIs (Computer Generated Images), photoshopped images and images of replicas are FerrariFR33458's stock-in-trade, please expect no better because he sources random images from Google and posts them here. That's why his contributions come with no meaningful or useful information as it relates to date taken, chassis number, location, owner or in fact any useful content, thereby ruining what should be a good resource thread and diminishing the value of the content available on FChat. Perhaps you'll forgive his transgressions because he doesn't know a real one from a fake, ergo his content, that said, on rare occasions where the images he posts are in fact real, they are subject to copyright infringement as reported in the past.
