Just got my car back from getting tint and clear film protection. Went with a Ceramic tint, 40% on the sides and a clear 70% on the windshield for heat and UV reduction to help protect the leather on the dash. I also had the entire front end, and side rocker panels wrapped in Suntek Ultra clear bra. It’s my favorite film out there as it has the smoothest finish and no orange peel when compared to Xpel Ultimate. I also had the windshield covered in Alchemy Exoshield for protection. These windshields are extremely expensive to replace and is just never the same when replaced. It’s cheap insurance to have and it doesn’t affect forward visibility at all.

Will be interesting to see how the suntek holds up on higher impact areas. I liked it on my 360's hood and fenders, but it was questionable on the bumpers(Rosso). Don't like it on the front of my MB as it shows impacts as dirty smudges. Now contemplating if to use it on the Blanco 458. Again no problem on the Bonnet or Fenders, but question the bumpers. Sunteck is the film of choice with my installer stating that Xpel Ultimate changed their adhesive making it more difficult to remove. Have you heard anything like that? Your car looks beautiful.

I recently bought a 15 458 with 3000 miles on it. I'm not by far driving the wheels off of it ,but this one is going to be like my first Ferrari many years ago-a 72 Dino 246GT that had 38,000 miles on it when I sold it. Went through the garage queen baloney on Ferrari's 3,4,&5. Ya know what, the only one that brought me memories was the Dino. The 458 is a wonderful car- use it, enjoy it as life is short. Of all the only 2 that turned into good investments were the Dino & the Garage queen #3 the 512 BBi.

I have heard that suntek is easier to install and remove which can result in a better looking product. Xpel is thicker so it is stronger for high impact areas like the bumper which is why I have it on my daily driver, but on a car that I drive rarely I prefer the look of the suntek over the thickness of the Xpel

I had Suntek on my 430 and it looked great. I have heard that lately the Suntek hasn't been as good (not as clear, more orange peel) but I can tell you that comparing it to the Xpel that I have on another vehicle, the Suntek looks much better.

I just installed the Forza Remote for my exhaust valves. Took a few hours to do it, taking my time. Love this simple mod and gets rid of the annoying on and off nature of the exhaust.

Interesting to hear someone else feels the same. I have use XPEL ultimate for years and find that it looks quite good and holds up well, as long as you take care of it. Used Suntek recently on my daily and the rocker panels look awful after just 2000 miles. Looks amazing on the hood and bumpers but I am not convinced overall I like it for those high impact areas. Disclaimer, I have never owned a car long enough to need to remove the film but I do have one now that is 6 years old with 45,000 miles where it needs to be replaced soon so maybe I will find out.

Just got my car back from Supreme Power in Orange County. I had them install a set of Novitec springs for me, set the ride height and do a corner balance and alignment. I also had a set of 15mm and 20mm spacers from Exotic Car Gear put on along with a set of their extended Titanium bolts that I had finished in their custom matte option. I absolutely love the factory 20" forged optional wheels so I just had Supreme Power refinish the wheels for me in a custom BBS-inspired Satin Titanium finish. I also had them swap out the old Michelin's for the new Pilot Sport 4 S. I finished it off with a set of titanium valve stems and Ferrari Carbon Fiber center caps from MyRicambi.

Love the changes...car looks great with both the old silver and now new titanium finish. Would love to hear your impressions of the ride with the new springs and spacer set up as compared to factory. I much prefer the look of the lowered car. I’m thinking of doing this to mine but was told the car doesn’t handle as well...on the fence still.

I just took the car out for a drive on ‘The Snake’ on Mullholand and it handles fantastic. With this set up there was no rubbing or scraping at all during the run. The ride is also comfortable. I can’t feel any dramatic loss in ride quality in both standard and ‘bumpy road’ mode.

    What a beautiful car !!!! congratulations :)
On my 458, I cleaned the sticky off of the steering wheel.... turn signal buttons, headlights, wipers, suspension button
I used denatured alcohol on a microfiber towel
wrap the towel around your finger and keep the spot at the end of your finger wet, keep changing to new towel areas
be patient, let the alcohol work, don't use Q tips, the stick can scratch the buttons
I have a perfect result !!!!!! looks good and most importantly, feels good
I tried to upload a pic of my steering wheel, but file is too large

Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login I purchased a Carbonio carbon fiber air box and a BMC filter for my 458 and took some time to install it. Total time was about 1 hour and only required a T25 Torx bit, 8mm wrench and a 3mm allen wrench. The stock paper filter was surprisingly still very clean given my mileage (17,000) but I wanted to take the opportunity to change the filter while the airbox was out. The quality of the carbon on the airbox is incredible and looks OEM. It's very lightweight, and the airbox with the filter should increase airflow and keep intake temperatures down. The filter added some more engine volume, but the airbox looks absolutely amazing inside the engine bay.

Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Got this Ferrari OEM Sport exhaust from a member here for a great deal and came with the optional black tailpipes. Initial impression is that it is not louder than the stock exhaust but it has a different tone and different sound characteristic. It’s throatier, less bass and little more high pitched and smooth vs the rumble of the stock exhaust with valves open. It is 4.5kg lighter and smaller than stock. Build quality is excellent as expected from a factory piece.
