Im currently lowered 1" on factory springs, basically as low a factory could allow. I want to get H&R springs, cause the factory ones are too soft, and handling is mushy. Also I wanted the front to be slightly lower than what it is now, so it would match the rear.

The H&R lowers 1.2" front and 1" rear i believe. I know H&R springs are shorter than the factory springs.
The question, anyone know where the spring collars will need to be once I get the H&R springs?
Any imput from the H&R guys out here?

What spring rates do they offer for the 355? Have you contacted Hyperco?

Hey Ken, I can't remember what spring rates are offered, but all H&R springs for 355 are same. They are stiffer by 30-35% then the factory ones. I read people are saying if rides as good as factory ones but with a lot better handling.

Your measurements on the damper body do not directly correspond to ride height, due to motion ratio. The motion ratio further differs front to rear.

The H&R springs for the 355 lower the front substantially more than the rear. You might find the front too low even at the top of the adjustment range, so that's where I would start. In the rear, the middle of the adjustment range reportedly gives similar ride height to the front at highest adjustment.

I agree with Shurik. The factory springs do not lower the front enough and messes with the car's rake if going low. Seems like H&R has taken note and spring rates are also probably close to Fiorano Handling package. It would be nice to get the Bilsteins rebuilt to match the news spring rates as well.

Fiorano rear spring is just 15% firmer. Front unknown.

Looks great...but what's with the air brake spoiler? That thing looks like it might create a ton of drag!

ha ha I have stock height and I freaking rub everywhere here in NJ. In AZ I would never rub if I had it there. Geography dictates a lot regarding rubbing. Lucky SW bastards!

The 348's have a longer front airdam so lowering the 348 is a bit more problematic than on 355's it always seems like.
